Springrock 2025: Whitecross, Angelic Forests and Battled

After 15 years, legendary band Whitecross returns to the Netherlands for an exclusive performance in Willemeen, Arnhem, on March 23, 2025. Whitecross, who had their heyday in the late eighties and early nineties, were known for hits such as "In The Kingdom," "He Is The Rock," and "Seeing Is Believing." They previously performed at the Flevo Festival and the iconic Springrock festival in Dordrecht.

This Willemeen gig will see the band reunite with their original guitarist, Rex Carroll, and introduce their new album Fear No Evil, along with a revamped line-up, including a new vocalist. This promises to be a unique show for fans old and new, and a tribute to Whitecross’ impact on the rock scene.

The evening gets extra energy with Angelic Forces and Battled as support acts. These upcoming bands set the tone for a show full of power and nostalgia, and it will probably be the last chance to see Whitecross live in the Netherlands.

Whitecross' performance in Willemeen also marks the return of Springrock in a new form. The original Springrock festival, which took place in Dordrecht in the nineties, was the place to be for rock and metal music lovers with bands such as Stryper and Guardian. The new edition of Springrock retains this nostalgic atmosphere, but also brings a focus on local talent, giving new artists a chance to shine.

This new Springrock brings back the energy of the past in an intimate setting, where both the legendary sound of Whitecross and the fresh sounds of new bands come together.
