Solo artist Michael Feighan took a leap of faith,
stepping out from behind  his drum set and going solo with
the release of his new album,

“SOMEONE PRAYED”
offering a message of hope and redemption.
It includes his new patriotic single,
“I STILL BELIEVE”, a tribute to our nation’s military and to his father, who served in the Air Force for 27 years. It debuted as a premiere with CCM Magazine and a Labor Day apprearnce with Michael on TCT TV.
The project was produced and co-written by  Matt Bissonette (Elton John) with drums by Gregg Bissonette (Ringo Starr) and engineered by Grammy-winning Chris Lorde-Alge
(Bruce Springsteen, Tina Turner, Tim McGraw).
Michael’s music career began as a drummer with the band, Whitecross, which took him across the United States, South America and Europe and included winning several Dove awards. He was named one of the top 10 drummers in Christian music. Michael later played on the Gotee label with the band Curious Fools, as well as with Oz Fox of Stryper, Guardian, B. J. Thomas and others before entering the vocalist arena.

Michael’s foundation for the lyrics to “Someone Prayed” came about because of personal struggles and the challenges he and his wife faced in adopting a child from Russia.  Two trips abroad and mountains of paperwork later, an 8-year-old blond-haired, blue-eyed little girl was the new daughter of this blond-haired, blue-eyed Irishman.  Michael was aware of the power of many people praying for them during this time, some whose names he did not even know.
